ZAPP TURNED ONE! Sharing Some Happiness

On August 16, 2020, three of us came together to start ZAPP TODAY. When we started ZAPP, we had the vision to help deliver personal and business deliveries in Kathmandu. We started our operations last year with Google Forms and next-day delivery. Within a short time, we started to plan for a mobile app that would make it easier for our customers and drivers. We planned for a system that was going to work the best for our customers, our drivers, and the operations team. After months of working on the app, on January 17, 2021, we launched our mobile app on the App Store and Google Play Store.

It has been a great journey this past year, where we learned a lot of things in the logistics service. Hence, through experience, we have found out that we never thought were a part of the logistic business. We wanted to share this happiness with you with an infographic of our data on what we have done in the past year. The first year has not been easy for ZAPP but we would like to thank our partners and customers for always being with us to deliver their packages. Our partners and customers have always been the backbone of our operations and always believed in ZAPP to get their packages delivered.

We have completed more than 20,000 deliveries over the past year! Thanks to our customers for being a part of this amazing journey with us.

We have teamed up with more than 60 businesses in Nepal to help deliver their products to their customers. At ZAPP, we are adding in more partners every day to help more businesses and startups with their deliveries.

5,000+ Zapp App Downloads

We launched our app on January 2021 and the mobile app has changed how the delivery system and process work for our customers, their customers, and for us as well.

2,500+ Cake Deliveries

Delivering cakes is one of the most challenging parts of our process. However, looking at this number, we would like to thank our ZAPP Drivers for always making sure they are delivering happiness the best way.

1,500+ Clients Serviced

Our clients are the heart of our business. We are So happy to help deliver packages and goods for over 1500 customers. Currently, we are growing our internal team in the coming months to make sure we can grow this number.

35 Zapp Delivery Drivers (on average)

All our drivers go through weekly training so that we are able to provide the best service for your deliveries. They also go through a lot while delivering. Driving through the rain, intensive Kathmandu traffic, and pollution.

What’s Next For Zapp?

A year into the logistic business, at ZAPP we are planning on a few new things moving forward. We hope to always serve our customers with the best service and improve our current services. At ZAPP, we also have plans to hire and grow 200% of our team in the next 6 months and decrease the delivery time by 50% within the next few months.
